Life moves pretty quickly when you are busy procreating. If you don't stop to look around once in a while, you will miss it. It's been a year and a bit between now and my last post. That's not to say that my life hasn't been busy or interesting; far from it! It's been TOO busy! From life-altering exams, to fertility shrines, theatre adventures and family sadness - the past Year of the Rabbit was just that: erratic, fertile and hectic.
I refuse to focus too much on the negatives of the Rabbit year. Instead, the positives: our little baby Cooper and the year of the Dragon.
Born obediently on the 1st of March, the 60th day of the year, he came quite quickly into the world. And ever since he became a member of "Team Chody," time has sped up exponentially, like a schoolgirl running for Justin Bieber.
I think my blog will morph into yet another "lonely house wife with kid who has a passion for photography." Not that there is anything wrong with that! Far from it: I couldn't think of anything I would rather be doing at this moment in time.
So, for now I just hope Cooper cooperates enough to actually let me find a few moments each day to dedicate time to this new chapter of blogging. I say this with not very much confidence; he is whimpering at me through the monitor...Such is my life now!
